Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part in London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she refused to master English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She dropped out of high school at 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
