Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, and singer is also a talented actress. An attractive, clever and gifted actress, she's a great model for Asian actors aspiring to become big names in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted when she appeared in some of the most popular TV shows. She played the evil Ling Woo. Following her fame, she got important roles in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). Her performance was outstanding as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. She also played leading characters in failed box office films such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring part in the show helped Liu establish herself the status of an established actor. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order to prevent being stereotyped within an industry where competition is fierce. Although she is adamant about her heritage, it hasn't limited her in her work as an artist.
