StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakthrough role was in the 2011 Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. Then she appeared in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mom and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. She is a citizen of the United States through her father. Her father, the professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She began her career in Mexican television before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. 6. The Mexican entry for Best Foreign Language Film was selected at the 84th Academy Awards.
