Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen (born 6 May 1964) is an actor from Denmark. Danish actor from Denmark. He is an actor from Denmark. In the following years, he was a part of Borgen III and Those Who Kill and Those Who Kill, both highly recognized Danish drama series. He also played a lead part in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock as the blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen.In the American television series House of Cards, he played the role of President Russia. He won an International Emmy Award in 2018 for his performance in the Danish drama Herrens Veje. It was aired in the UK in 2019 under the name Ride Upon the Storm
